PCT Filing Requirements

  1. A simply signed Power of Attorney. (must be filed 2 months from filing).

  2. Specification, claims and drawings in French or Arabic.

  3. A copy of the international search report.

  4. A copy of the international preliminary examination report, if any.

Information

  • Priority: The time limit for the PCT national phase entry is 31 months from the earliest date of priority for national phases.

  • Examination: The Request for examination is included in the filing.

  • Annuities: Annuities fees must be paid every year calculated from the international filing date for PCT application. Penalty for late payment up to 2 month.

  • Missing documents can be filed later with an additional penalty per month up to 2 additional month
